PART-1
The Tejas, dazzling golden brightness emanating from the body, beautiful long arms which reach almost up to the knees (Aajaanu Baahu), highly attractive lotus-eyes full of gravity, broad forehead and the glowing body majestically decorated by the Dwadasa Urdhwapundras (12 Naamas) - such magnificent is the appearance of Our Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji as described by Sriman U.Ve SriBhashyam Appalacharya Swamiji. Added to this exceptional physical appearance is His golden attitude satiated with humility, innocence and immense sincerity.
HIS BIRTH
In the Karthika month of the year Durmukhi, He incarnated in the form of the grandson of Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji. On the auspicious night of Deepavali, 3rd November 1956, when this grand festival was being celebrated throughout the country, less known was the fact that the One who was destined to guide millions in future has been bestowed upon us in human form. Blessed is Arthamur Village, near Rajamahendri which was sanctified with His birth and blessed are the pious and religious Srivaishnavite couple, Smt. Alivelumanga Thayaru and Sriman. Venkatacharyulu who called this child of theirs by the name, Srimannarayana Ramanujacharyulu. None were aware of the fact that this Angelic Being who descended upon the Earth for our sake would be responsible for upliftment of millions in the days to come.
As time elapsed, and He approached teenage, the responsibilities of the family descended upon His shoulders as He was the eldest son in the family. Owing to this, He took up the job of a stenographer at Hyderabad. Consequently, at the adolescent age of 16, He went to Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji with His Mother’s consent. His holy acquaintance with Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji was initiated when the latter required a stenographer. By the divine grace of the noted scholar, Vidwan U.Ve. Sriman T.K.Gopalacharya Swami, Srimannarayana Ramanujacharyulu was employed as Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji’s stenographer (for a monthly salary of Rs.200). His happiness knew no bounds as He procured the golden opportunity of constantly experiencing the bliss of the holy presence of Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji and also accompanying Him in His endeavours. Thus, making of a future Acharya commenced with the thorough exposure to the intricacies of spiritual, religious and social activities being spearheaded by His Holiness Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji. Gradually, He started actively participating in all the activities. He developed the tendency of extracting excerpts from the discourses of Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji and documenting them. Meanwhile, the fact that Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji was closely related to Him in His Poorvasram came to light. Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji was perturbed by this fact, lest the people should get disappointed by assuming Him to be partial. At this juncture, a proposal by Sri Gopalacharya Swamiji of making Srimannarayana Ramanujacharyulu’s job permanent was approved by Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji.
